I didn’t learn leather from a book. I learned it from a factory floor.
I grew up around the sound of sewing machines, the smell of freshly cut leather, and the familiar click of zippers being attached to jackets. While other children were busy with their own worlds, mine was surrounded by craftsmen, patterns, leather hides, and the quiet discipline of making something with your hands.
My journey started with the simplest jobs.
I learned how to handle a jacket before I learned how to make one. I watched experienced craftsmen work. I learned how leather stretches, how it moves, where it folds, and how different hides behave under the needle. I learned that a jacket can look beautiful on a table but still feel completely wrong when you wear it.
Over the years, I worked my way up through the factory.
From attaching zippers and working on individual parts of a jacket, I eventually became a cutting master the person responsible for turning a piece of leather into the beginning of a jacket.
That is where I truly understood the craft.
Because cutting leather isn't simply about following a pattern. Every hide is different. It has its own grain, texture, thickness, scars, and character. You have to understand the material before you decide how to cut it. One wrong cut can waste a beautiful piece of leather. One thoughtful cut can bring an entire jacket to life.
After more than a decade in the industry, I decided it was time to build something of my own.
Eddy’s Jacket was born from that decision.
I didn't want to simply put another jacket on the market.
I wanted to make jackets the way I had learned to make them with respect for the leather, attention to the smallest details, and the understanding that a good leather jacket isn't something you wear for one season.
It becomes part of you.
It travels with you.
It gets softer with time.
It develops its own character.
And, if made properly, it can stay with you for years.
Today, every Eddy’s Jacket carries a little piece of the journey that brought me here — from that factory floor, to the cutting table, and finally to my own workshop.
Ten years of experience. Countless jackets. One promise:
To make leather jackets that are built with the same care I would want for myself.
This isn't just a business I started.
It's a craft I grew up with, a skill I spent years mastering, and a story I now get to put into every jacket we make.
Welcome to Eddy’s Jackets.
